Timex is one of the well-known watch brands available on the watch market. These watches are pretty tough and are known for being able to take a licking and keep on ticking.

If you own a Timex watch, then the first thing you need to do is make sure it has the correct time on it. You may also need to change the time on your watch if you live in a Daylight Saving time zone and may need to update the time on your watch. If you’re also travelling between different time zones, you would need to set your time to reflect your new time zone.

Setting a Timex watch is a pretty fairly painless procedure. In this article, we’ll give you a step by step approach of how to set a Timex watch quickly and easily.

Timex Watch Collections

To get to know the brand even more, here are some of its most well-known collections.

1. Ironman Collection

This collection is available in men’s and women’s sizes and it was the first digital wristwatch collection produced by the brand.

They were launched in 1986 and were made primarily for sports. They included features such as a stopwatch, a timer, and alarms.

A famous personality who has been spotted wearing an Ironman wristwatch is none other than Bill Clinton. He eventually switched to more expensive brands such as Rolex, though, but notwithstanding, it has been said that the former US President used to wear early models from the collection while he was still a Governor. When he became President, he was still spotted wearing these watches. He allegedly donated an Ironman watch to the Smithsonian Institution.

There are different models within this collection to choose from including the Ironman classic and the lightweight. The Ironman classic is water-resistant up to 100 meters.

You can also choose from the Ironman Essential which has a large digital screen display for easy viewing. There’s also the Ironman Transit which is perfect as an everyday watch. It also has an athletic silhouette.
